Butterfly Bottle Opener

Butterfly Bottle Opener

thingiverse

This is my one-of-a-kind bottle opener - the ultimate way to crack open your favorite drinks! I designed it with precision and printed it using high-quality PLA material with a fast-print 0.6mm nozzle at a layer height of 0.5mm. Smaller nozzles and layer heights will yield even nicer surfaces, but may require longer print times. Check out the prototype in action - it survived its first birthday party where it performed flawlessly. Tip: To extend the lifespan of your bottle opener, try increasing the infill percentage. Additionally, a heavier weight will allow the butterfly opening mechanism to glide smoothly. You'll need 2 grip parts and 1 opener part to assemble this masterpiece. Simply screw them together with M5 screws and lock-nuts (or add some glue for extra security). Then, insert a euro-cent into the slot - voila! I'd love to see your creations! Share your suggestions and feedback in the comments below. The inspiration behind my bottle opener's head design came from 3DPrintler's 3D Printable Bottle Opener, which is available under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial license. I made some adjustments to fit my butterfly design, including making room for a euro-cent in the slot.
