Animated butterfly flutters around vibrant rose. The file "Butterfly.MOV", found in the download, demonstrates the project in action, or view it at "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4J4c7SfM7Qo&feature=c4-overview&list=UUv_zm49u-RjnCJVwhUO-ecA". The project can be easily assembled to animate electronically (using a 6-volt DC power supply, gear motor and coaxial power jack), or by hand cranking manually. This engaging project was carefully designed with Sketchup 8 (free version) and expertly printed using Makerware 2.2.0.49 on a Replicator 2 utilizing PLA material. Acknowledgments are given to both talented artists: "Butterfly.stl" is a modified version of audience_cat's "Garden Butterfly", showcasing exceptional artistic skill. "Rose.stl" is a modified adaptation of tc_fea's ""Rose with stem", reflecting outstanding creativity. Special thanks go out to both for their remarkable artistic talents.
