butter slider x carriage stock extruder plate
thingiverse
This is how you can use my butter slider with a stock extruder setup for the Anet A8, I designed the plate since tapping into the original part risks the screws hitting the rods. The plate attaches using the same four holes found on all the butter sliders; simply screw it in or melt a nut into one of the four spaces provided. Next, you can screw in the black aluminum stock plate to it. I'm currently low on screws, so please disregard their absence in the photos. New update: I've added extra support for the top area. You'll need to drill 3mm or 4mm holes into the butter slider's top surface to secure it in place until I can create a new butter slider with pre-drilled holes in that area.
