Butter Pig Dies Remixed
thingiverse
When I first started remixing steveweber314's Butter Pig, I began with the dies. Instead of scrapping these, I decided to share them for others who might want to print stronger and cleaner dies. I tweaked them to allow printing flat for added durability, cleaner edges, and no support needed. The slicer die was modified to push the butter slice away from the pig. The dies can be inserted in either direction; however, the slicer would work best with the flat portion facing the stick of butter. Be sure to check out my new corncob die! I didn't stop with the dies and ended up remixing the entire design. Print Settings Printer Brand: SeeMeCNC Printer: Rostock MAX Rafts: No rafts are needed. Supports: Supports are not required. Resolution: A resolution of .20mm is recommended. Infill: 60% infill is a good starting point. Notes: I recommend printing at least three top and bottom layers. The picture posted was a prototype made with Princess Pink PLA from SeeMeCNC. You should consider using food-safe plastic for the best results.
