I've hung the butter dish on a shelf rail inside my mini refrigerator.\n\n \n \n Directions\nSo far, I've used this dish for several weeks, and it does exactly what I need it to do. To keep things simple, I haven't made a cover for it yet, but the butter stays pretty clean hanging up there.\nThis rail is 9mm thick (about .35 inch).\nBoth SAE and metric files are provided for you.
