What this piece is it is a butler where it has a tray and two pockets on the side of it with a base to keep its balance and the pockets on the side are where you can put your writing utensils and the tray's lid can be lifted to store eraser on there. And the reason I did it this way is that I remembered the butler statue I have at my house that holds my controllers and I thought I could implement that into my design for the design and I thought it would be creative and funny. One of the things I had trouble with is figuring out how long I should make the pencils holders and how wide I should make the eraser holder as well. If I were to redesign it I would make the head shape more round and not just use squares and circles. And how 3D printing helps my design is it will help promote what it is good for and how it is used and help it stand out more.
