A distinctive cup-and-ring mark is prominently displayed on an exposed patch of bedrock in a well-manicured pasture field, situated approximately 260 meters northeast of the Mecknock farmstead (NS05NW 17). The visible exposure measures roughly 3.8 meters from north to south and 2 meters wide; the cup-shaped mark itself has a diameter of 18 millimeters and a depth of 3 millimeters, situated within a faint ring mark with a diameter of 33 millimeters. A feature resembling another cup, located near the northwest edge of the ring, is likely a natural occurrence. The carvings are positioned about 4.6 meters southeast of a nearby boulder bearing similar cup-and-ring markings (NS05NW 8).
