The panel forms an outcrop of rock situated in open pasture on the gently rolling hillside of Glenvoidean. It is positioned among a small cluster of gorse and scrub approximately 100m west of a chambered cairn. A power line overhead crosses about 40m north of the panel, with several other cup-marked rocks and stones visible in the surrounding area. Panoramic views stretch west-southwest across the West Kyle towards Kames and further southward towards Ardlamont Point and Inchmarnock. Glenvoidean can be accessed via a rough track from the turning circle at Glecknabae, approximately 2.5 km to the south. Photographed by Patrick O'Sullivan, Bute Museum, Rock Art Bute team, ScRAP
