Bute Ettrick Burn 13
sketchfab
The panel rests on a rugged south-facing bank of an uncharted tributary that feeds into the Ettrick Burn, located on the Isle of Bute, where a field gate stands about 25 meters to the south. This tributary funnels water down to a short distance east, forming a breathtaking waterfall. The same field gate serves as access to the final grassy expanse heading north up the valley of the Ettrick Burn, nestled between Kilbride Hill and Muirton Hill. Three boulders cluster about 6 meters south of the panel, but it's highly probable that this panel was not originally situated here. It's more likely that it was removed from the grassy field along with those mentioned boulders. A panoramic view unfolds down the steep slope towards the Ettrick Burn.
