Butcher Bug - Carnisaurus Clamantis
thingiverse
I can stop making remixes of the Carnisaurus Fex anytime I like. In fact, I quit five or six times a day. This creature was designed to look great when running with a pack of stabby raptor bugs as an ablative meat-shield. To make it plausibly use its tail for spike launchers, I grabbed the Xenomorph tail. This also gives it that low-slung therapod appearance. The projections on either side of the head are from the original Fex tail with some sculpting, while the lower jaw and tongue come from the Xenomorph. You'll probably see this creature again when I finally figure out how to do that Ultralisk-style space bug I've been working on. Most of this model was printed at .08 resolution, but the head was done at .04. If you print this, it works best for me if the talons are printing straight up. You should be able to find most of the supports used in the Cut-Up file. Note that the thorax had a significant gap up top on the dorsal ridge; you might want to delete one half and mirror it instead of leaving that hole there. If not, you can fill it in with some green stuff.
