Bernardo Ferrándiz Bádenes, a renowned Spanish painter born in 1835 in Valencia and passed away in 1885 in Málaga, was an artist who lived contemporaneously with Sorolla and Degrain. Trained at the prestigious Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Carlos, he embarked on journeys across Africa and Italy, specifically visiting Rome. Ferrándiz's artistic talents earned him recognition through various exhibitions, including honorable mentions at the Exposición Nacional de Bellas Artes in 1860 and 1866. A notable representation of his work is found in a digital recreation of a bronze model situated in public spaces both in Valencia and Málaga.
