Buste de Henri Koch (violoniste)
sketchfab
François-Henri Koch was born in Liege on July 10, 1903, and died there on June 2, 1969. His friend Vicomte Jacques de Biolley raised a bust of him in September 1972 on Piercot Boulevard, near those of Eugene Ysaye, Cesar Thomson, Ovide Musin, and Hector Clokers. In 1976, his hometown honored a great representative of the Liège violin school by naming a street after him. For several years now, Henri Koch's records have been sought after by collectors, particularly in Japan where an editor has re-released on CD historic recordings from the 1930s of the Municipal Quartet of Liege.
