Bust of the Ideal Scout

This is a digital replica of the renowned "The Ideal Scout" or simply "The Boy Scout," created by R. Tait McKenzie, a sculptor celebrated for his iconic works. He first conceptualized an earlier version of this statue in 1918, which was intended to be a symbol of excellence for the Boy Scouts Organization. Later, in 1937, a larger and more imposing rendition of the same statue came into being. This digital bust was painstakingly recreated using photogrammetry techniques from a duplicate standing proudly outside the Center for Scouting Sioux Council headquarters in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. For those intrigued by the captivating history surrounding this statue, further details can be found at: http://scouters.us/TheBoyScout.html
