Bust of Sappho

Artec showcases an impressive variety of 3D scans on their website, http://www.artec3d.com/gallery/3d-models/. One striking model is the scan of Soppho's Head, which I found captivating. The STL file has been modified in netfabb by adding a flat bottom and filling holes. I printed this model using white PLA from ProtoParadigm, and at arm's length, it looks remarkably like a plaster cast. A recent update includes a slic3r-friendly version, half-sized and tilted back 5 degrees, provided by richrap.
