Juliette Récamier (1777-1849) hosted a renowned salon in Paris that drew in the city's most prominent literary and political figures during Napoleon's reign. Her stunning appearance was immortalized through portraits by Jacques-Louis David (1748-1825) and other celebrated artists, cementing her status as a beauty icon. She poses elegantly in an antique-style gown adorned with a Grecian hairstyle that exudes sophistication. Chinard playfully subverts traditional bust formats by allowing her drapery to cascade naturally over the pedestal. The original terracotta model was later recreated in marble, resulting in multiple versions of this exquisite piece. This sculpture is part of "Scan The World," a groundbreaking initiative launched by MyMiniFactory to create a comprehensive digital archive of 3D printable sculptures and landmarks from around the globe, accessible for free to everyone.
