Amelie-Julie-Charlotte Castelnau married Richard Wallace in 1871. She left that portion of her husband's collection at Hertford House to the British Nation in 1897, a generous gift. This impressive bust was showcased at the Paris Salon in 1872. This object is part of "Scan The World", an ambitious project launched by MyMiniFactory. Their goal is to create a comprehensive digital archive of fully printable three-dimensional sculptures, artworks and landmarks from all over the world for everyone to enjoy for free.
