Count Feodor Alekseyevich Golovin led Russia from 1650 to 1706 as its last boyar and first Chancellor of the Russian Empire, serving also as a field marshal and general admiral since 1700. Throughout his life, Peter the Great relied heavily on him for guidance until he passed away. A bronze bust portrait commemorating Golovin was unveiled in public view on July 6, 2007 within the square surrounding St. Andrew's Cathedral located on Vasilyevsky Island in St. Petersburg.
