The enormous red granite figure of Amenhotep III is a granite head belonging to the 18th Dynasty Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Dating back around 1370 BC, it was discovered in the temple enclosure of Mut at Karnak in Upper Egypt's northern region. Two portions of the damaged colossal statue are well-known: the head and an arm. Both pieces are now on display in the British Museum.
