This is a 1/64 scale model of the Bushmaster MRAP 2010 Australian military vehicle. The Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicle or Infantry Mobility Vehicle is an armoured vehicle designed and built in Australia for four-wheel drive applications. Developed by Australian Defence Industries, now owned by Thales Australia, the Bushmaster provides protected mobility transport with a support contract from Oshkosh Truck. Currently serving in the Australian Army, Royal Australian Air Force, Royal Netherlands Army, British Army, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, Fiji Infantry Regiment, Jamaica Defense Force and New Zealand Army. The primary role of the Bushmaster is to provide infantry dismounting capabilities before entering action. Initially designed as an Infantry Mobility Vehicle (IMV) due to its light armour, the term was later changed to Protected Mobility Vehicle (PMV). The vehicle's design distinguishes it from heavier armoured personnel carriers like the ASLAV and M113. This digital model is protected under International Law through a Creative Commons License.
