This OpenScad-designed spool bushing fits 1.75-inch spools, like New Image Plastics' 10 lb version. Bearings slide onto the MakerBot threaded rod for reduced friction. It relates to a previous design and has an oversized hole for ease of use. The spool holder tilts to prevent unraveling, rubbing against the side. Optional hot glue secures bearings inside. Customize with included OpenScad file. Print two parts, insert bearings carefully, then mount spool onto threaded rod and print effortlessly.
