This coupling accommodates slight misalignments, featuring pins and coupling bolts. Rubber or leather bushes cover the pins. It consists of two dissimilar halves; pins are tightly fastened by nuts on one flange and loose on the other. Used for connecting shafts with small parallel, angular, or axial misalignments, the rubber bushing absorbs shocks and vibrations in operation. Commonly applied to electric motor and machine coupling.
