Bus Bar Brackets
thingiverse
This is a collection of components designed to create holding brackets for bus bars. The set includes isolating pieces of varying lengths, allowing users to customize their setup according to their needs. The main bracket ends feature distinct identifiers for the positive and negative bar connections. It's recommended to replace the filament with a contrasting color at around 98% completion or use a sharpie after printing is finished. These brackets are engineered to accommodate bus bars measuring 20mm by 5mm. The nut holders are specifically designed for M5 nuts, providing a degree of flexibility in case the drilled holes on the bus bar are not perfectly centered. However, these holders require additional supports to ensure that the lip prints and fits correctly. These components were initially developed for use in my solar shed, where I have eight lead-acid batteries connected in parallel to form a battery bank.
