Burr Stand
thingiverse
I have a few drill burrs for cutting and grinding. I wanted a way to bring all my burrs to a single place and neatly make them accessible. Two added complications are that the shank sizes are either 6mm or 6.35mm (1/4in), the second complication is that the burrs are uneven in width, especially grinding bits. My solution to the complications is to have a modular burr stand. The bases have the following capacities: - 6 x 6.35mm shank - 8 x 6.35mm shank - 8 x 6mm shank Each stand is 75mm wide by 15mm high. Stand modules securely clip together, much like jigsaw puzzles to make a train like stand. As I find more useful burrs, my modular approach allows me to just add a stand module that matches my burr growth. My print is made in PLA 1.75mm Aurarum Gold filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 15% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer. No print supports required. I hope you can find this print useful, too.
