Game Res Model Week 4 Substance Painter Textures Alright guys, it's time to dive back into our game res model. This week we're going to focus on creating some killer Substance Painter textures that will give your models a truly authentic look. First things first, let's get familiar with the Substance Painter interface. It's pretty straightforward once you know what you're doing, so don't be afraid to experiment and try new things. Now that we've got our interface down pat, let's move on to creating some textures. We'll start by importing a base texture into the program. This will give us something to work with as we create our final product. Next up, we're going to use Substance Painter's node-based system to add some extra detail to our texture. We'll be using nodes like bump maps and normal maps to really make our texture pop. After that, we'll be adding some color and contrast to our texture. This is where things can get a bit tricky, so be sure to take your time and experiment with different settings until you find the right look for your model. Finally, let's talk about how to export our texture from Substance Painter. It's pretty simple, just make sure you're exporting it as a normal map and not a bump map. And that's it for this week's tutorial on creating game res models in Substance Painter! I hope you guys found this helpful and informative. Don't forget to practice your skills by working on some of your own projects. Let me know if you have any questions or need further clarification on anything we covered today. Happy modeling!
