This meticulously crafted model boasts dimensions that are nearly identical to the actual Arliegh Burke Class destroyers, with a variation of only 1-5%. Each ship is built individually, leading to slight differences in equipment locations. These models feature numerous animateable parts, including the 5" gun, missile hatches, radar antennae, propellers, and rudders. The flight deck nets can be lowered for flight operations. Available in various formats, these detailed models pay homage to the most heavily armed destroyers ever built in the US and the most powerful worldwide. Designed to replace Spruance Class D, they incorporate technology from Ticonderoga class "Aegis" Cruisers; their angled superstructure sides and tripod mast reduce radar signature at sea. The Burkes are equipped with a plethora of Tomahawk cruise missiles and other guided missiles, a radar-guided 5" automatic deck gun, and one or two Phalanx guns capable of firing 2000 rounds per minute, each with its own radar-guided aiming system. Additionally, they carry Seahawk Anti-sub warfare helicopters and have hangars to house them, as well as 6 torpedo launch tubes on select ships.
