These models of Arleigh Burke Class destroyers showcase incredible detail, with dimensions within a 1-5% range of the real ships. Each vessel is individually built and may exhibit slight variations in equipment placement. The models feature numerous animatable parts, including the 5-inch gun, missile hatches, radar antennas, propellers, and rudders. Additionally, flight deck nets can be lowered for flight operations. Available in various formats, these destroyers are the most heavily armed ever built in the US and more powerful than any other destroyer globally. Designed as a replacement for Spruance Class D, they inherited technology from Ticonderoga class "Aegis" cruisers. Their angled superstructure sides and tripod-masted design reduce radar signatures at sea. Burkes carry Tomahawk cruise missiles, guided by radar-controlled 5-inch deck guns and Phalanx guns capable of firing 2000 rounds per minute. They also house Seahawk helicopters for anti-submarine warfare and have torpedo launch tubes on either side.
