Russia's Bashkortostan Republic hosts a significant archaeological site in Khaibullinsky District, discovered in 2009. Excavations at Yakovlevka-2 uncovered a solitary barrow containing an assortment of valuable artifacts. The burial site's contents reveal a rich heritage from the Iron Age. A dish crafted from tortoise shell, a horse bridle, knives, and beads attest to the sophisticated tastes of ancient Sarmatian culture. Dating this treasure trove falls within the chronology of the V-IV century BC.
