The lid comes in two distinct forms: a solid edition and an alternative where I attempted to conserve materials. Every surface that will be in contact with the meat must undergo treatment such as waterproof polyurethane varnish, as 3D printed objects are inherently non-waterproof (see image). It's essential to ensure that all materials used are certified for food-grade contact. Update: On August 26th, 2016, a revised version of the lid was introduced, utilizing less material (reduced from 130g to 100g), along with a new base featuring a solid bottom.
