Gergely Kárpáti's castle and medieval fortress model is based on Burg Lockenhaus, located in Güns Valley, Burgenland, Austria. The oldest part of the real-life structure sits atop a hill, with subsequent expansion following the terrain's contours. For the model, Kárpáti used floor plans, drone footage, satellite imagery, and tourist photos. He created it in Rhino using V-ray renderer, box-texture mapping, and default material modifications. The model is without interiors, has a polygon count based on triangulation, and comes in multiple formats including 3DM, OBJ, FBX, STL, and 3DS. It's organized by materials into separate layers, but no retopology was performed for mesh formats. Sunlight is included as seen in preview images.
