Buran Soviet space shuttle
thingiverse
The first operational Soviet Russian shuttle orbiter produced is the Buran, carrying a GRAU index serial number of 11F35 K1 and identified as OK 1K1 by some sources, or alternatively Orbiter K1 or Shuttle 1.01 in other instances. Beyond referring to the primary spaceflight vehicle under this program, "Buran" also represented the entire Soviet Russian shuttle project. The unmanned spacecraft known as OK-1K1 carried out a successful solo mission in the year 1988 but ultimately met its end when a hangar containing it collapsed back in 2002, with this single flight making it the lone reusable space vessel launched from Soviet Russia into outer space. A significant aspect of the Buran-class orbiters is their reliance on the Energia launch rocket for their initial journey to space, as these spacecraft were not capable of self-propulsion and therefore required an external power source for departure.
