Analysis of stability, scale model study 1/100, center of keel position and metacentric radius. Obtaining the center of keel for up to 12° lists, the metacentric radius is obtained at the intersection between the keel center action line to 12° list and the vertical crankshaft axis. The analysis could be performed with AutoCAD's help (calculating the volume center for 12° list while maintaining design displacement in list), this is achieved by making an approximation with volume cuts and consulting properties until equalizing design displacement with keel in list. The scale model allows observing through the pendulum system how the center of keel positions for different list angles. Extracted data are: metacentric height 6,406 m and metacentric radius 3,0104 m. The virtual model was extracted from a practical work of the Technical Higher Education in Naval Construction career at ISFT 193, Mauro Lujan Saghessi's project and idea. Note, the transverse metacentric radius is considered practically invariant for up to 10° lists, it has been altered and maximized the angle for improvement in visualization.
