Buoy
thingiverse
A compact version of a data-collection buoy designed by Nortek BV. Data collection buoys like these are used in lakes or near shore seas for measuring water parameters such as waves, currents, temperature, salinity and turbidity. I simplified the original design and modified some features to make them printable on demand. The 'Buoy_float_half' model must be printed twice with the halves assembled together through gluing. Print Settings Printer: MakrBBot Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: none Notes: The Andreas Cross is printed upside down, and the ring at the bottom serves as a temporary holder for the four legs on the build-plate during printing. It can be removed afterward.
