Bunny Jail Alpha: HIPS test

Bunny Jail Alpha: HIPS test

thingiverse

The Stanford bunny model is housed within an egg-shaped enclosure, serving as a test for MattS's innovative printing technique using dissolvable support material, HIPS. This method employs dual extrusion, printing the primary object in ABS while the support structure is created with HIPS, which can be easily dismantled using Limonene solvent. Nonetheless, the resulting egg cage appears delicate and prone to breaking; increasing its scale by approximately 50% would enhance its sturdiness and more accurately resemble a typical egg's dimensions.
