I mostly design functional stuff, but every once in a while it's 3D printer justification time and I make something for my wife (see also my Dyson hair dryer wall holder).

This little bunny is for earrings and other things like hair clasps. It prints in three pieces, fits together beautifully and apparently makes a nice gift, as my wife is giving these away to her friends frequently.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

I3 MK3S

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2 mm

Infill:

20%

Filament: any PLA any

Notes:

When slicing the hex grid part, it's better to use so many perimeters (3) that the part is printed without infill. It's an iterative process that takes some time. I made some designs that had holes which were too small, taking forever to print and making it pretty unusable

Category: Organization
