Bunker Walls Dust Tactics
thingiverse
Humans are notorious for craving vast expanses of open space, and for the average individual, nothing screams "open space" quite like an arid desert landscape dotted with the skeletal remains of abandoned factories and vehicles. The dust-covered expanse stretches out before us, a seemingly endless horizon punctuated by crumbling edifices that stand as testament to a bygone era of prosperity. To one side, a rusted hulking monstrosity of a tank sits forlornly atop the ruins of a dilapidated gas station, its faded insignia bleached to near- invisibility by years of blistering desert sun. Distant on the horizon, a solitary figure wanders aimlessly across the wasteland, an almost comical sight in a makeshift disguise made from what appears to be torn bed sheets. To another side, an eerie array of skeletal skyscrapers rises up towards the pale sky, their twisted, tortured spires like some sort of grotesque gothic sculpture. In the center, however, the dust-strewn main road cuts a serpentine path through this desolate world. Beneath our feet lies what little landscape we do have - rocky scrubland that gives way to sand-scarred dirt roads and dusty paths. It's against this unremarkable yet eerie backdrop that war zones take place, and Dust Tactics does so with grim style. The ruined husks of once-thriving buildings serve as shelter and concealment from enemy forces, making for an unforgiving but exhilarating experience. This battle-scarred terrain becomes even more immersive through its sheer realism - soldiers scurrying for cover amidst a cloud of dust kick up mini-storms when firing heavy machine guns, bullets and grenades causing cratered blast marks in the ground as if actual earth was being ripped apart. Dust settles on everything - the uniforms, rifles, and other objects alike. As for civilians caught between opposing sides, the best they can hope is to avoid getting maimed while fleeing the war zone.
