BunkBed (WIP)

BunkBed (WIP)

At present, it's an ongoing project. For Christmas, I constructed bunk-beds for my sons since we couldn't find a suitable, affordable set that met our criteria. These designs are mine, and I'm working on finalizing them using Solid Works. Please be understanding as I recently welcomed a new baby on the 31st. I employed the KregJig Jr., which proved to be an excellent, enjoyable tool. However, I am still figuring out how to model the holes accurately. Additionally, I haven't added any fasteners yet. SolidWorks played a significant role in my design process, assisting me with sketches to determine appropriate placements and measurements for components like stringers. My sketches might be messy, but they were crucial for reference. Mostly, I relied on sketches rather than 3D models. If anyone is interested, I have the sketches to showcase my thought process. During this project, I did a lot of mental modeling on-the-go as well.
