My first design of a quadcopter focuses on compactness. It's specifically designed to be printed on a standard 20x20cm printer bed for simplicity's sake. Building it requires the following steps: To start, I printed this model using ABS material and secured the top deck firmly in place with a sturdy piece of M3 thread rod and two robust locknuts. The drop arms are attached to the base plate via straightforward screws and an added splash of hot glue adds extra stability. Key printing settings include: An ABS material is chosen The nozzle size is 0.4mm, and layer height reaches up to 3.2mm Perimeter prints total three rounds A solid fifty percent infill is maintained A revised cross-sectional STL file has been generated in order to better accommodate slicers struggling with previous configurations Additionally, an enhanced drop arm design was added, featuring altered support structures and increased reinforcement within bolt wedges
