Bumblebee - wearable helmet This model depicts Bumblebee's head from his 2018 solo film where he transforms from a classic Volkswagen Beetle. The wearable helmet is a large replica of the vehicle, requiring post-processing for completion. Files are available that contain unassembled and fully assembled components ready to be 3D printed. SCALE At standard scale dimensions, the interior measurements of the helmets are: Width approx. 168 mm Length approx. 235 mm The total height is approximately 309 mm You can customize the model according to your head size for a snug fit. Add padding to the inside of the helmet for comfort. PRINTER SETTINGS The helmet's size demands post-processing. Use layer heights between 0.1 and 0.3 mm on FDM printers for optimal results. Parts are designed for easy alignment on the printing platform, minimizing support requirements. Printing a brim on the shell parts is necessary to prevent warping due to their height and thinness. Printers may require different settings based on model-specific printer capabilities. This helmet design was created by a team member from our 3D modeling studio.
