Bultaco Logo Remix
thingiverse
I created a remixed version of the iconic Bultaco 3D logo designed by Supergus in 1968. To transform it into a flat paperweight, I removed the stand and expanded the base significantly. The model was then printed on an Ender 3 with optimal settings for speed. Unfortunately, it took around eight hours to complete. Key takeaways from this project include the realization that using a higher infill percentage would have produced a more robust print. Additionally, the small peg supporting the thumb logo and the letter U required glue to hold them in place. To compensate for these issues, I experimented with shape-shifting techniques in TinkerCAD. However, results may vary depending on individual experiences. This print was made as a gift for my father-in-law, who has a rich history of racing Bultaco bikes.
