Bulova Computron Case Mod
thingiverse
The Bulova Computron is a unique 'driver-style' watch that displays its time on the side of the case rather than the top like a conventional watch. It does however, share the same design flaw of many other LED watches where in order to display the time...you have to push a button with your other hand....Not that useful for actually driving. This is intentional though, as to leave the LED time display on continuously would dramatically shorten the life of the battery. For the Computron at least, I designed this little printable shroud that can be affixed over the case (designed around the D-Cave version, but likely compatible with vintage and re-issue variants). It features a much larger flexible 'pusher' on the right side that allows you to check the time by flexing the watch wearing wrist up, pushing it inwards with the back of your hand. This works for left hand wear use only, since the 'wake' button is on the right side of the case. Note - You'll likely find it easier to attach if you remove the top (or in the case of the Computron, the 'rear') watch strap from the case.
