Bullseye 2in1out base
thingiverse
I previously modified the Hero Me duct system to work seamlessly with the 2in1out hotend from Bigtreetech. After an extensive period of experimentation, I discovered that the angle of the ducts on the Hero Me is not well-suited for an E3D-type nozzle since it sits significantly closer to the heat block than the MK8 nozzle found on standard Ender printers. The Petgfang works marginally better, but the bullseye duct truly shines with this nozzle. I therefore created a base that is compatible with both the Ender 5 and the Ender 3 for direct drive and bowden setups respectively. I use it in conjunction with this design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4402183) which enables me to control two 5015 fans. I achieve flawless overhangs until 70 degrees, after which only slight distortion occurs up to 80 degrees. Print the base flat on its back with 100% infill. I employed supports everywhere and was able to remove them effortlessly.
