Bullet PIXEL - MINI Christmas Tree
thingiverse
This is a mini xmas tree, using bullet pixels (neopixels, ws2812..etc), for outdoor xmas light display. It utilises OVAL pvc electrical conduit (tube) for the pixel supports, which makes it easier to drill and mount the pixels. The distance from the top and bottom mounting plates is 400mm (~16") , then add the 200mm (8") star on top gives you a tree of 600mm (~24") high or thereabouts. You could make it taller but the holes in the top/bottom plates are designed and angled for the stated dimension. It also uses a 20mm round conduit for the vertical at the back, which also serves to mount the simple star topper and also can be driven in the ground, or clipped to a wall. If you trim off the bottom of the 20mm tube and oval conduit to the same length (below the bottom mount) it will sit nicely on the ground. When glued up it is very rigid and strong. The oval conduit size is fairly standard in the UK, but do check first. The overall size used in this design is 23mm x 11mm (outside dimension). The eyelets provide a neat finish to the drilled holes at the front and are optional. Happy to answer any questions. Dont forget to acknowledge if you download. Thanks
