Bullet Journal Month Stencil

When using an A5-size bullet journal, this stencil allows you to quickly draft lines for 3 calendar "trackers" -- for things like [Dont Break the Chain](https://blog.doist.com/dont-break-the-chain/) or color-coded daily statuses-- without dealing with a straightedge or having to count small dots. The edges are chamfered so it also functions as a bookmark if/when your bookmark ribbons fall off! It fits easily into the pocket at the back when not needed. For my calendar trackers, I use the top row for the day abbreviations (M/T/W/Th/F/Sa/Su), and the remainder of the rows for calendar dates. Not every month requires 7 rows, but in a "worst case" scenario where the 1st is on the last day of the week and there are 31 days, that requires 7 rows. Also, if we make each calendar block is an 8x8 square, this stencil can be rotated 90deg to make both the vertical and horizontal lines. The columns align with Leuchtturm 1917's dot grid, but could be used for any A5-size journal. Simply use the stencil to make the vertical lines, then rotate 90deg to make horizontal lines. On an A5 sheet, this gives room for up to 12 trackers per page with 2 rows for a page header. One side has a slightly wider margin than the other intentionally. The binding of the journal forces the need to have the smallest margin I could work with structurally (1mm) on the inside. The other, wider side functions as a measure/block to ensure you have enough room to title your tracker on the page (when oriented vertically).
