Bulldog Zip

Bulldog Zip

thingiverse

I designed this zip toggle to replace the one that broke on my jacket. I've seen plenty of replacement zippers here on Thingiverse and even tried a few but they were never strong enough. Paperclip-based ones rusted and broke while those with a plastic loop snapped too easily. This design uses an arm stolen from a bulldog clip, making it much sturdier and easier to fit. To release the toggle, simply squeeze the arm together to disengage it from the clip. Then thread through the remains of the zipper. Next, squeeze the arm together again and fit the printed toggle in place. Easy as that. I hope this will be helpful to others. I made this a customizer-compatible thing so you can alter the dimensions to your liking.
