Bulldog XL Extruder Model

This text describes a custom-drawn model of the Bulldog XL extruder from RepRapDiscount. The designer needed the model for a machine design and created STL, STP, and IPT files for each part. The extruder uses an R-1760KK bearing with dimensions of 17mm x 6mm outside and bore, and a brass sleeve pressed into the bore to accommodate an M3 screw. The gearbox is 5.18:1 and measures correctly in length and spindle diameter. The stepper motor measures 34mm from machined face to back with max current of 1.0A and recommended current of 0.6A. However, the model is still missing a few parts including gearbox cover, hobbed pulley, bearing, groovemount clamp, and interchangeable brass plugs. The designer will complete files and check fitment before finalizing the model.
