Bulldog Extruder Filament Guide

Some bulldog-type extruders have too much free space between their body and the gearwheel, causing filament to bend, clog, and ultimately get shredded by the gear - a situation that happened to me just one day after mounting the bulldog in my printer. This simple upgrade ensures such a mishap will never occur again. Inspired by Michael Foegelle's original design on grabcad.com, I measured the extruder and created my own version of this guide.
