Bullard PA30 to 3M Versaflo PAPR tubing adapter
thingiverse
This is a one-piece coupler to connect a 3M Versaflo-family helmet or face shield to an old Bullard PA20/PA30-family PAPR unit, using the Bullard unit's stock PA1BT hose. It accommodates the Bullard twist-lock for quick-disconnect, and uses a pair of zip-ties to stay firmly in place on the 3M connector, while retaining the ability to swivel. I may work on a full 3M-style quick-disconnect adapter at some point, but in the meantime, I've iterated this to the point that all dimensions fit securely and there is no appreciable air leakage, so I'm pretty content with the design as-is. For those three people out there who find themselves in my shoes, with tons of filter cartridges for a specific older, completely different make/model PAPR but still wanting to use a fancy 3M helmet or hood, here ya go!
