I created a project for my class called "BullShark," a Space Pirate character inspired by their unique armor style and fighting techniques. This was my first attempt at creating a Hard Surface Character, so I'm hoping it meets expectations. The character was sculpted in Zbrush and rendered in real-time using Unreal Engine 4. The model itself is mostly game-ready, with approximately 86,628 quads. The weapon has around 14,330 quads, the cape boasts 3,516 quads, while the background and miscellaneous elements comprise about 3,715 quads. When combining all these components, the total quad count reaches an impressive 108,189. Although I'm satisfied with the character model's progress, there's still much to learn about Unreal's lighting techniques, which is why I might revisit this project in the future to refine its overall appearance.
