I added O-Ring grooves and made the bumps for sealing hose a bit smaller. My stiff hose would not be able to go over the original bumps. It fits on these with a very tight press fit. The O-Rings are 7/8 outside diameter for the nut and 13/16 for the fitting. They both have a 0.1 inch cross section.
