Bulk Film Spooler
thingiverse
A bulk loader for film photographers! Simply add two 48x48 mm squares of felt to create a light trap. I used thick, approximately 2mm felt, and recommend doubling up if your material is thin. Secure with super glue. Print the largest, flattest surface of each model using a robust printer bed. If concerned about adhesion, use a raft at will. The Crank assembly prints nicely on its side with supports in place. The version shown was printed before I added several key features: Each cap now displays "ISO100" or "ISO400," making it easy to remember which film is loaded. A table embossed onto the body indicates the number of turns required for a specific number of exposures, based on a Lloyd Loader design.
